Commenti | Naturally reproducing populations abundant in reservoirs on Kauai and Oahu islands. Supports a popular sport fishery. In Hawaii, there were two or more releases into reservoirs on Kauai and Oahu, starting in 1961. This species is established in Wahiawa Reservoir, a 350-acre, privately owned irrigation reservoir.
